Advanced Jedi Training Droid 6(Talk to my master) 13:00, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
So as we all know, new canon has been being consistently published for less than a year now and I've noticed atleast 2, perhaps 3 inconsistencies that the story group may have glossed over or maybe I'm just missing some things.
In the Journey to the Force Awakens novel "Smuggler's Run", one of the people hunting Han and Chewie is described as a clone in his 40s. But Boba Fett is the only clone that could be this age because the rest all aged rapidly as seen in Rex, Wolffe & Gregor in Star Wars: REBELS.
How can there be a clone trooper that looks to be in his 40s directly after the events of Episode IV?
Also in another Journey to the Force Awakens novel "The Weapon of a Jedi", Luke discovers an abandoned Jedi temple and must use the force to activate a lever which opens the case that the training balls are in. He struggles for hours with this lever but in the novel "Heir to the Jedi" (a book that supposedly takes place directly before Weapon of a Jedi), Luke masters his skills to move object with the force during his time with Nakari Kellen.
Why has Luke suddenly forgotten how to use this ability and why is there no mention of Nakari? Someone who Luke romantically fell for and who recently died. You'd think that attempting to move an object with the force (an ability Nakari had a huge hand in helping Luke hone in on) might bring back some recent memories of the woman he fell for and was murdered soon after.
Lastly, in the second issue of Vader Down, Luke comes across another Jedi temple but judging from Luke's wording, its something that seems completely foreign to him and it takes a while for him to realize its not just any ordinary temple, it's a Jedi Temple.
If Luke already discovered Devaron's Temple of Eedit in "Weapon of a Jedi", Why does the temple on Vrogas Vas come across as completely foreign to him? —Unsigned comment byLiam Horgan (talk • contribs).
It's not clear when The Weapon of a Jedi takes place in relation to the Star Wars comic series. It's vaguely assumed here that it takes place beforehand, but we don't actually know. So it's not so much an inconsistency as it is that we don't yet know how all of the stories fit together in the timeline. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 19:10, January 8, 2016 (UTC)
If I recall correctly, TX-828 was one of the final clone produced at the end of the war, which would make him in his forties by the time Smuggler's Run takes place. Secondly, in Heir Luke is only able to barley able to move a noodle. A lever would be significantly more effort. Finally, by the point Vader Down takes place, Luke has only seen the Temple of Eedit, a Jedi temple that looks very different than the one on Vrogas Vas, so it likely he didn't recognize it. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 19:15, January 8, 2016 (UTC)
