With much of the former expanded universe being classified in the legends category, I am curious if anyone knows whether or not any more novels, comics, short stories, etc... will be created or expand on previous expanded universe stories with the understanding that it will not be official cannon? Thanks everyone.
Jennifer Heddle, senior editor at Lucasfilm, has stated on Twitter that no new stories will be coming out for the Legends continuity. She did say never say never, but you can effectively consider the Expanded Universe continuity to have reached its end. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 07:23, June 28, 2014 (UTC)
I am unsure if the Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide will be Legends or Canon, but I think that it started being made before the canon overhaul... I guess it will depend on the content in a way? ralok (talk) 05:42, June 30, 2014 (UTC)
Then, of course, there are a few issues of Dark Horse comic series still yet to be published, with the last original issue due to be released in August, after which it's only going to be TPBs and collections. Also, the Star Wars Comic UK magazines, which include short comic strips in each issue, is still ongoing. Although the canon status of the new issues of that magazine has not been clarified, it's most likely part of Legends. QuiGonJinn(Talk) 10:11, June 30, 2014 (UTC)
