That is funny. But here is a thought that may be the rabbit trailing away from the exact question. There are other things comparable to Greek fire in a historical sense. Cloaking Devices for starships and craft of every size are no longer available after a certain point. Possibly...There a few technologies that seem to die out, and the fault may lie in the waves of antiquity pulling the machines away from later eras. And on the direct record, blasters are tongues of Greek fire on the go when blasted underwater. There is an idea if we are compiling a list. Star Wars is so filled with weapons and tech there could be a google answers to be created or known to us now. I suggest you research incendiaries and plasma. Also, the keyword 'aquatic' or 'marine' may assist you on this database.
