Hi, I purchased a toy lightsaber a few years back and I'm wondering what it is (as in the hilt, or who's it is). It is marked with 'Hasbro 1999 LFL China'.
It is not a canon design. It is not any specific Jedi's lightsaber. It is just the shape of Qui Gon's lightsaber with the colors reversed. 188.8.131.52 19:52, October 31, 2011 (UTC)
It's the same lightsaber I got for carnival around ten years ago, it's available in green and blue. I had both :) and yes, if I remember right, the package claimed it was Qui-Gon's lightsaber. Nahdar Vebb 20:04, October 31, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. It might not have made an appearance in any form of text, but it could be canonical, after all, I think you could design a hilt in any way that you wanted. Canonical is probably the wrong word in this situation though.
Hasbro must have messed up the color scheme of the lightsaber. 184.108.40.206 05:54, November 1, 2011 (UTC)
I used to have this lightsaber, and I remember popping my Episode I DVD in and pausing it on a close-up of Qui-Gon's lightsaber. Toprawa is right in that the color scheme is reversed from Qui-Gon's. If I remember right, I'm fairly certain the box labeled it simply as a "Jedi" lightsaber without specifying a particular character. I could be wrong though.
