I was wondering how long Luke actually trained under Yoda after Hoth? was it a few weeks or just a couple of days? —Unsigned comment by 74.15.195.88 (talk • contribs).

Also, recall that Luke got a few weeks of formal training, and then another full year (more or less) of informal training by himself, using the book he found in Obi-Wan's house, as well as practice using the Force. • Of Possible Futures: The Tale of Zuckuss and 4-LOM establishes that it was a month between the Battle of Hoth and the Rebel rendezvous. According to the Essential Reader's Companion, a few publishers established an eight-month period of training for Luke, though this has not been corroborated by other sources.
