I was wondering how long Luke actually trained under Yoda after Hoth? was it a few weeks or just a couple of days? —Unsigned comment by 74.15.195.88 (talk • contribs).
- The Essential Atlas says that the Falcon's trip to Cloud City took it weeks on its backup hyperdrive. It shouldn't be too hard to extrapolate from that. —MJ— Holocomm Monday, April 16, 2012, 20:52 UTC
- Then Luke only got weeks of training and he was able to defeat Vader at the Death Star? WTF?!--186.42.231.11 21:56, April 17, 2012 (UTC)
- Did you fall asleep when Luke gave in to his anger and came at Vader screaming in rage? — DigiFluid 23:14, April 17, 2012 (UTC)
- Also, recall that Luke got a few weeks of formal training, and then another full year (more or less) of informal training by himself, using the book he found in Obi-Wan's house, as well as practice using the Force. That training counts for something. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 12:41, April 18, 2012 (UTC)

- Well, there wasn't MUCH of a delay between the Dagobah scene and the Battle of Endor in Episode VI. A few days at most. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 00:40, April 23, 2012 (UTC)

- Of Possible Futures: The Tale of Zuckuss and 4-LOM establishes that it was a month between the Battle of Hoth and the Rebel rendezvous. According to the Essential Reader's Companion, a few publishers established an eight-month period of training for Luke, though this has not been corroborated by other sources. That month between the Battle of Hoth and Luke at the rendezvous point is the only concrete time frame we have, to my knowledge. Trak Nar Ramble on 08:50, October 23, 2012 (UTC)
