How long does it take Luke to get from Hoth to Dagobah and then to Bespin? I seem to recall that the Falcon take weeks, but I realize it has a damaged hyperdrive at the time. It seems to me that there must be a practical limit in terms of how long someone can be in the cockpit of so small a ship without rest-room breaks?—Unsigned comment by220.127.116.11 (talk • contribs).
For the rest of the non-Jedi starfighter pilots, it is stated in the Star Wars: Empire: Darklighter (TPB) comic that Tie Fighter Pilots have plumbing built into their flightsuits. It can be imagined that the Rebels would have something similar especially due to their ability to make long hyperspace jumps. Modern fighter pilots have something called a "Piddle pack" that takes care of urination, but from what I've read most combat missions are meant to be short enough that they don't really make provisions for bodily functions in fighter craft. There are plenty of humorous/embarrasing stories on the web of circumstances where they would have been handy though. It's part of the "horrors of war." ;) KievanMereel 22:08, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks - how long does it take him though?
Lets see...if the falcon take weeks, it will be likely that is going to take twice as long with Class 1 hyperdrive, which is twice as slow as 0.5. Anakin Skyobiliviator (talk) 04:02, January 3, 2012 (UTC)
The Falcon was not using its Class 0.5 hyperdrive because it was broken. It was instead using its backup hyperdrive, which was a Class 10 according to our article on the ship. Master JonathanCouncil ChambersTuesday, January 3, 2012, 17:44 UTC
