I am making a power point presentation, spicing up my lame job, and need help to figure out how many times and in which episodes were lightsabers dropped? Anybody have movie photos?
- In just the movies, Luke drops his twice in Empire (3 if you count his "disarming"); Obi-Wan loses his during his fall into the bottomless pit in Episode I; Anakin loses his in the speeder chase while Obi-Wan again loses his against Dooku in Episode II (Again, it's up to interpretation whether Anakin drops both the sabers he loses during that duel); Yoda drops his during the duel with Palpatine in Episode III while Obi-Wan loses his again on Utapau (Mace and Anakin get nods for possible droppage due to critical hand failures). Whether you want to pile another count onto Obi's list from his New Hope vanishing act, or count Vader's saber throw in Jedi, is up to you. Dangerdan97 15:28, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Obi-Wan also drops his after he is seperated from Qui-Gon by being kicked to the lower level by Darth Maul in Ep. I. Anakin's saber gets cut in half in the foundry in Ep. II (a possible one). Mace drops his also during the skirmish in the arena in Ep. II (which is totally badass how he retrieves it away from Jango). You could also count the fallen Jedi during the same skirmish. Or you could even count the instances during Operation Knightfall (Which I believe would be going to the extreme). You could count Grievous' critical hand failures even. Then Obi-Wan drops his after he is "thrown" by Dooku on the Invisible Hand. Ki-Adi-Mundi drops his after he his shot in Ep. III, as does Aayla. Anakin and Obi-Wan both drop theirs at various times during their duel on Mustafar. Obi-Wan loses his again while he's fighting Jango on Kamino. Luke throws his away when he stands up to the Emporer in ROTJ. Vader permantly loses his after he is "disarmed" in ROTJ.--CT-1987 18:31, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- Palpatine drops his during the tail end of his duel with Mace, Agen Kolar, Kit Fitso, and Saesee Tinn all drop theirs as they're cut down by Palpatine--CT-1987 17:22, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
- I don't know if you can count someone "dropping" their lighsaber if they are being killed. It might even be a stretch if they get their hand cut off. As for a lightsaber being destroyed like Anakin's, I wouldn't count since he is still holding it. Unless it's like his duel with Dooku however when he drops it after it is destroyed. Then you can count that as being dropped.MasterJedi15 18:49, July 15, 2010 (UTC)MasterJedi15
- Barriss Offee dropped hers in the Clone Wars Episode: 2.8 Brain Invaders. She dropped it while being shocked by the zombie clone dudes. I know I'm a little late with this info. TK-299 (Click Here) 10:59, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
