Why is the Human lifespan so short in the Star Wars universe? When you look at the advances in medical science (eg. Kaminoans) isn't it possible that they developed technology to expand the lifespans of even the most unhealthy humans?

I really mean without the help of the force, as people who use the force to sustain themselves are really just cheating death. Hunter 4-LOM 11:44, April 26, 2011 (UTC)
Advance in science does not automatically equate to greater life expectancy. Most advances in Star Wars technology pertain to recovering from injury, not staving off death. NaruHinaTalk 21:48, April 26, 2011 (UTC)
According to the Star Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition Core Rulebook it states "Jedi live longer than the average member of their species. While a typical Human lives well into his or her 80s, a Human Jedi might live well into his or her 100s. The upper limit for a character powerful in the Force can be twice as much or more than a typical member of a species."CookieCrumb 00:06, April 27, 2011 (UTC)
