The assasain droid turned bounty hunter IG-88 appears frequently in the Star Wars universe, but often in conflicting times and places. In Tales of the Bounty Hunters, he takes control of the second Death Star by replacing its droid brain with his own. He is then destroyed when the Death Star explodes. However, in Renegade Squadren, the video game, he appears to harass the squadren during the battle of Endor. He also appears in several comics and other games, though not necisarly at conflicting times. Is this just bad planning and reasearch on the part of the designers, writers, publishers, etc? —Unsigned comment byGrndadmrlthrwn (talk • contribs).
I know this, but , again, in Tales of the Bounty Hunters, which was the first to tell the tale of IG-88s creation, all the IG-88s were destroyed; A had become the Death Star, B was destroyed by Boba Fett in Cloud City, and C and D were both taken out by Boba Fett in Slave 1 in the atmosphere above Tatoeene while Fett was delevering Han Solo. —Unsigned comment byGrndadmrlthrwn (talk • contribs).
Good point. Most likely bad planning/research by the game designers. But judging by some of the articles, this wouldn't be the first time an IG-88 appeared when all the others were destroyed or in control of the Death Star. Though the existence of IG drones could easily fix this issue. And for the future, please sign your posts like this: "~~~~". Grand Moff Tranner(Comlink) 19:07, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
