There were about 300 around when Luke declared himself GM during the Dark Nest Crisis, which was about five years before LotF. It then stands to reason that there were around the same number by Lotf. Hope this helps.—Tommy(Nine two eight one) 00:23, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
Is there a source for that? Because I thought there were only 100 in Vector Prime, and almost half of those were killed. Granted there's 10 years between these, so it's fair to assume the Order grew, but by that much? Or does Vector Prime only count Knights and Masters, whereas Dark Nest Crisis counts apprentices too? Luke was shocked by how small the gathering looked. Including the students and Han, there were just under three hundred people in a hall that had been designed to hold two thousand-the academy's entire complement of Jedi and support staff.
Wow, ok, that's a good source :) So then that partially explains it: 100 from Vector Prime only refers to Knights and Masters, but 300 from The Swarm War includes apprentices, but not support staff (presumably maintenance workers, janitors, administrators, etc.) which increases the total amount of people working for the NJO to about 2,000. Bear in mind as well that the number 300 probably excludes people who left the Order at Luke's request (since he asked for people who could not fully devote themselves to the Order to leave), such as Danni Quee and Tenel Ka. Maybe there were more, who knows. Thank you for the source though. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith 17:39, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
So that would put it at about 350-400 Jedi (including padawans and younglings) around the end of LOTF?- User:Jedi Master Craighead
