Is Qui-Gon Jinn a Jedi guardian, sentinel or consular or other? He uses a green light saber like a Jedi consular yet fights like a Jedi guardian. Could he be a Jedi sentinel? This information is not included anywhere Hunter 4-LOM 18:54, November 18, 2009 (UTC)
I dont know for sure, but I'd take a guess at him being a consular. My reasons to think this are first due to his view of the force being different to those of other jedi in the order (explaining why he is seen as a maverick), possibly due to him studying it in more depth than others (as a consular would).
And also Qui-Gonn Jinn was also one of the only Jedi in the order (in 'recent' times) to transform into a force ghost after his death (a tricky feat i imagine). to do that would suggest to me that he would be a consular. obviously, like i said that's just my opinion. He's a guardian, as statted up as far back as the Original WoTC campaign setting. QuentinGeorge 21:38, November 20, 2009 (UTC)
Though it should be pointed out that "class" is a gameplay distinction only in the modern era. While there may be distinct classes in the KOTOR era, there's no evidence they are anything but Jedi by the time of Jinn. jSarek 02:36, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
- classes were abandoned in times after kotor 1. Jinn may have been a consular.
