Having read around 50 of the Star Wars books I have only come across one in which the narration of the story is told from R2D2's point of view. I can't remember which book it was as it was quite a while ago that I read it but I do remember how exciting it was to have the story told from the little droid's POV.
After looking around here I've found that in the Dark Nest trilogy, which conveniently I'm about to start reading, Luke learns more about the history of the both R2 and C3PO and I'm looking forward to that. But my question is, does anybody know of any other books that feature periods of the story told from R2's POV? Not so bothered about 3PO as he contributes to the story verbally enough in most of the books he features. Thanks for any help!
R2D2 POV huh? that sounds pretty interesting. Is it told from a first-person perspective? Is R2 self-aware?
JSarek was right about the book, that was the one I have read. As far as I can remember it was third-person so POV might not have been the correct way to describe it but it was still the most "involved" I've ever found R2 and I'm hoping there are more books which give him the narration time he deserves! --Blake Solo 16:59, January 29, 2012 (UTC)
