I'd like to read about Revan's backstory but I'm having a hard time finding just which comics to read to get the full story. Any help would be greatly appreciated! —Unsigned comment byJesseStarfall (talk • contribs).
Hey, Jesse. If you want to read about Revan's backstory, I'd strongly suggest you read the Revan article; I spent quite a while working on it and making sure that it covers his entire life (except for Shadow of Revan, which I'm still working on.) Specifically, the "Early life and Jedi training" and "The Mandalorian Wars" sections, which cover the events detailed in the KOTOR game and the KOTOR comics; that's probably what you're looking for. His major appearance in that series is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 42: Masks. CadeCalrayn 15:10, December 15, 2014 (UTC)
KOTOR 42: Masks is the story of how he ultimately committed to end the threat of the Mandalorians. Kind of a turning point from "these guys need to be stopped" to "these guys must never threaten us again." Earlier in that series is issue 9, which is set just before his departure to war (and the debate as to whether the Jedi should be involved in the war). Unfortunately, that's really all there is about Revan. The main character of the KOTOR comic is Zayne Carrick. Though it's worth noting that Malak is a recurring character. The only other really good source of backstory is The Old Republic: Revan, which is a novel, not a comic. And the games themselves, obvs. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith-Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 13:29, December 17, 2014 (UTC)
Well that's depressing. Was hoping there would be a lot more about him before KOTOR. I did read The Old Republic: Revan and it was great however it occurs after the games. Thanks for the help guys. Perhaps I'll read KOTOR 42 --JesseStarfall (talk) 18:21, December 19, 2014 (UTC)
