"Despite the established anti-Jediism of the New Order, many in the Imperial government were aware that Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader were Force users, but only a few knew that they were Sith Lords." (From the Galactic Empire article)
How did they not know Vader was a Sith Lord??? I mean wouldn't "Darth" Vader give it away that he's a Sith? Also they always called Vader and Palpatine "my Lord"—Unsigned comment by126.96.36.199 (talk • contribs).
In general you have to keep in mind most citizens of the known galaxy don't under the Jedi Order and aren't really aware of what the difference between the Sith and Jedi are. This is why it's often individuals refer to Darksiders as bad Jedi or just Jedi with red lightsabers.
As for "my lord" it's a title of respect not something indicative of Sith allegiances.188.8.131.52 20:33, June 21, 2013 (UTC)
The Sith have absolutes that the users of the light side of the Force aren't with. The Sith continue to conceal their identities since their is no use to fighting the Jedi about that. The Sith can do a lot of things that would get the ashla users pissed. The Jedi won't to hunt down the Sith, and the Sith are reluctant to fight back. Your swords please.
