In all of the star wars movies (save episode 2), battleships such as star destroyers, CIS ships, Mon Calamari Cruisers and the like are shown firing lasers.
However, (especially in episodes 4, 5, and 6) there is very little visual evidence of obvious turrets on star cruisers and battleships, other than the shots that they fire.
Can anybody post some pictures (preferably episodes 4, 5, and 6) that disproves this?
They're too small to be seen on film, though the biggest guns were apparently included on the models (as can be seen here). jSarek 22:42, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
There's a shot of a Star Destroyer firing a huge bolt from its big guns right before its hit and explodes. (In ROTJ, when Ackbar says "Focus all firepower...etc") It's also easier to see the turrets firing in the new films. VT-16 22:44, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
