Why do stormtroopers in episodes 4,5, 6 have different voices if they are clones?
Simple. They aren't all clones by then. While some are still Fett clones (including some original ones, per Battlefront II), there are a lot of Stormtroopers that were recruited into the Empire. Also, there were also clone templates taken later on. So, while SOME stormtroopers are clones, not all are. And if GL wanted to make them all still be Fett clones, it was within his power to redub all the stormtrooepr voices with the voice of Temuera Morrison, as he did with Boba Fett. He chose not to, so it stands that the stormtroopers are a mix of clones and mongrels alike.Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith-Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 16:44, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
Why should they have the same voice anyway? Boba and the first batch had exposure to Jango, thus picking up his Kiwi accent. If they were exposed to various Jedi and other non-clone leadership, they wouldn't necessarily all be speaking like New Zealanders just because their DNA was the same. Granted, the accent may have stuck around until most Clone Wars veterans expired, but newer batches would really have no reason to sound like Fett in regards to accent if they are only exposed to each other and other non-clone personel.Ghostmaker 08:47, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
