If anyone could answer this question for me it would be great. I would like to know how much the force can extend your life span. I once read a section on wookipedia about how a force sensitive human managed to extend his life span to 800 years old but recently people have said you can only get up to 3x life span. Even then people were contradictory because an 1800 year old wookie might be strange. Is there like an equation to solve tthis or something like for every century your life span is you can only extend your life spand so much?
1st century = 8x
2nd century = 6x
3rd century = 4x
4th century = 2x
The longest living sentient species in star wars is a neti, who can manage to live 5,000 years old average. This is shown with jedi master ood bnar fighting in the great sith war, being put into a super long sleep, and then waking up to find luke skywalker fighting a sith. How long would a jedi neti live?
Another question i have is, does your training in the force affect your possible life span. For example, would a human padawan live longer than a human grand master? I think it would because training in the force increases connection therefore allowing the force to increase your life span more.
I am asking all these quesations because i am playing the star wars role playing game and right now i am playing with a nautolan jedi but i want to suicide him and get a neti jedi and i am wondering how long i could live if we started a few weeks before the clone wars. I do know that if i am not killed in battle i will live to the time of darth krayt and be very youthful.
Thanks if you can help.
There is no concrete ratio established in any official Star Wars work of exactly what effect Force sensitivity has on longevity. Even the various roleplaying rulesets shy away from anything more definite than "Force users and live double or more than average". Rokur Gepta is, I believe, the reigning longevity champion at 20,000 years. How much of that is due to Croke biology and how much is due to his Force sensitivity is anyone's guess.
