I expanded the Manual of Style a little bit, especially the capitalization part. Anything else to add? - TopAce 17:31, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

  • I have a question related to what you added. As I understand it, punctuation is only included inside the quotes if it is part of the quote, like the period after a sentence. However a quoted word or phrase does not include punctuation but that is included if the quote falls at the end of a sentence. Is this an exception for formatting or something? Thanks. -Fnlayson 19:52, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Well could you at least point me somewhere at does explain it? -Fnlayson 23:13, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Regarding "Galaxy": "The word should also be in capitalized in direct quotations." I totally disagree with this. I think quotes should always appear exactly as they do in the original source (except for comics which are in all caps, of course). Otherwise, the additions look good. -- Ozzel 19:53, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
    • I don't know if changing galaxy to Galaxy is obligatory in quotes; that's only my personal experience. Many direct quotes are changed. Even for human and Human. - TopAce 19:56, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
