Forums > Administrators' noticeboard archive > NB:Archiving talk page with posts containing misspelled variations of "Wookieepedia"

A while ago I decided to archive my talk page, only to discover that I could not do so because it happened to contain a post that in turn contained a misspelled variation of the word "Wookieepedia". I was forced to edit that post to correct that mistake. Is there any way to address this issue? It was my understanding that talk page comments have to be left unchanged, since they "are a part of the public record" or so. Imperators II(Talk) 11:16, December 11, 2012 (UTC)

I adjusted the filter to not trigger if "archive" is in the page title. That should hopefully prevent any other cases of being unable to archive talk pages. You should now be able to restore the post in question to the original. —MJ— Holocomm 19:48, December 11, 2012 (UTC)
