Forums > Administrators' noticeboard archive > NB:Incorrect information

I recently was searching for the page for character Rey. When I typed 'Rey' in the search bar and clicked 'search,' the page came up with several results as expected. Also as expected, the top result was for the character page, but the character's name appeared as "Rey Kenobi." When I click the link, the page does not say "Rey Kenobi," but only "Rey," as it should. I think someone is trying to promote a theory in a subtle way by having the "Kenobi" appear on the search result page. Can you please address this? Thank you. Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • Good catch! Yeah that'll need to be taken care of for sure, though it would be best to contact an admin directly on their talk page --Lewisr (talk) 16:01, January 13, 2017 (UTC)
    • The Rey article did indeed have inaccurate information calling her "Rey Kenobi" added to it on January 3rd. It has since been removed. This is likely a result of the search system having yet to catch up with the updates rather than anything sinister.--The All-knowing Sith'ari (talk) 16:03, January 13, 2017 (UTC)
      • This has been fixed on the Fandom end. The search result now displays the correct information. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 17:35, January 16, 2017 (UTC)
