Forums > Administrators' noticeboard archive > NB: Another wikia feature and how to turn it off

I choose to creat this thread here instead of a SH, because apparently only an administrator can deal with this one. As you can see, Monaco skin now has two new buttons at the left: Write an article and Add Image. While the second one is simply redundant considering the Upload File link, the first one can be potentially dangerous because it encourages vandalism, while experienced users have no problem with creating artivles anyway. This post on the wikia forums explains ho to turn them off. It requires some manipulations with the skin, so I am under impression only an admin can do this. Please consider it. • Removed with CSS for now. If people want it for some reason, it's easy enough to get back. Also, for anybody using monaco, did the order of links in the toolbox change? We can put them back, but since I don't use the skin, I couldn't confirm this software change. —Xwing328(Talk) 05:53, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
    • Nvmind, confirmed this change. I put the links back how they were, with the exception of switch FAQ and What Links Here, as What Links Here now "disappears" on special pages like Recent Changes. —Xwing328(Talk) 06:09, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
