I keep getting an external link error when I'm trying to send someone a message. I'm not even posting any links besides the four tildes even though that isn't an external link, but I tried it without it anyway and it still came up. —Unsigned comment by Dessek Fett (talk • contribs).

• What page are you referring to? If there is already an external link on a page you are trying to edit, you, a new user, might be prevented from saving due to that. It should stop after being member for a few days. 1358 ^(Talk) 21:02, January 13, 2011 (UTC)
• We would need a link to the specific page you are trying to edit. Certain local filtering rules for external links were tightened on Wookieepedia after several pages already had links on them and Wikia-wide spam filters are also constantly changing. If you specify the page that is giving the error, and also quote the text of the error here, we can make adjustments if necessary. -- Darth Culator ^(Talk) 21:09, January 13, 2011 (UTC)
