I was just banned by Ifindyourlackoffaithdisturbing for adding the entry on Before the Republic era, which is the official publishing era for Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi as stated in the front of issue #1. I was banned for adding "fanon" and the entry was deleted with the helpful comment "lolnah". Either this is a case of anonymous bias, in which Ifindyourlackoffaithdisturbing had access to the comic but didn't bother to check, or he didn't have the comic and so he banned me before he could verify whether it was indeed fanon or not. Seeing as it is the official Lucasfilm publishing era, I see absolutely no reason why it should not be included here and inserted into the DOTJ issue articles as the official publishing era is with literally everything else. A look at my past contributions (as I assume Ifindyourlackoffaithdisturbing didn't even bother to do) will show that I have an extensive history of editing here and have never put anything non-canonical into this website. I would like this ban to overturned immediately. 02:48, February 29, 2012 (UTC)

  • The ban was already overturned. By me. Because I found out I was wrong. IFYLOFD (Floyd's crib) 02:50, February 29, 2012 (UTC)
  • The fact that you're able to even post this should have clued you in that you're unbanned. Also, speaking as another administrator, there comes a tendency to immediately distrust something added in by anonymous users. For every good addition, we have dozens of fanon entries we've had to revert. I can understand why IFYLOFD jumped the gun. I've done it myself a few times. -- SFH 02:56, February 29, 2012 (UTC)
