I was re-reading Rogue Planet and i noticed that there is a Force power in there that is not listed in the Force Powers page. I would add it, but i do not know if it is considered core, light, or dark.

Near the end of the book Tarkin sets a hand on Anakin's shoulder, Anakin uses the Force so that when Tarkin touches him, Tarkin is burned. The power appears to be used through clothing and it did not burn Anakin nor his clothes. While it does cause pain i do not know if it is a dark side power, because in the book Anakin absolutely hates using the Dark Side but he uses this power without a second thought. Any help or suggestions would be great. Also so far this power does not have a name that i have found. So if anyone has seen this power used somewhere else, bring it up please. This is probably not so much an ability as Anakin drawing on the force and surrounding himself with energy. The effect would imply that it is dark side energy that came in contact with Tarkin when he touched Anakin and damaged him because of the fact that he was alive, so the clothes not being connected to the living force would have not been affected. -Darth_Bogan616

The name should be Force Barrier, and it can be called upon when in extreme danger, and only by force-sensitives with a high midi-chlorian count, although in that case it wasn't intentional, but I do agree that it is extreme dark energy. Tyg13 20:41, 4 March 2007 (UTC)Tyg13

    • The name should be subject to suggestion, that is unless you have a source that clearly states FOrce Barrier as a name. Still, in the book it did appear that Anakin's application of this ability was intentional, perhaps a defense mechanism of sorts. I also think it should be mentioned that this ability did not severely burn Tarkin, it was in the context of a warning, not an attack. It seemed more of a defensive ability to me. But it is still open to suggestion and interpretation. (And please sign with the full four tiddles (~) ty.)AzureAngel 19:18, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
