Why do we put non-cannical information into articles?--IG-Prime(IG-2000) 00:47, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

  • You thinking of anything in particular? There are two reasons that come to mind: 1) Alternate video game endings, which should have a place, and 2) BTS section stuff, perhaps referencing to some non-canon that is widely held to be the truth, but in fact isn't. Otherwise, I believe all non-canon should be purged. DarthMRN 03:05, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
    • There's also Infinities and Tales stuff that is worth mentioning for completeness even though it's off-the-record. jSarek 12:13, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
      • Specifically, on the Boba Fett article, there is a non-cannical image of him under physical apperance. Shouldn't there be a cannical image there?--IG-Prime(IG-2000) 14:08, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
        • Unless I'm mistaken, there isn't a canonical image of him w/o his helmet. —Xwing328(Talk) 16:10, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
          • Probably not. But perhaps one with his helmet, like a close up or promo-shot. Or maybe one of Jango Fett, or a clone trooper. After all he himself is a clone of Jango.--IG-Prime(IG-2000) 16:52, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
            • The image of the action-figure further down the page is at least only ambig. canon. And the word non-canon should never be used in an IU article. Charlii 17:37, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Even for clones, there are minor differences (or the background/armor could be different), so I think care needs to be taken with that. There's no shortage of Boba pics out there anyway. -- 22:20, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
  • To the extent of my knowledge,Boba has never been drawn or illustrated without his helmet. Before Attack of the Clones, nobody seemed to know how he actually looked. Lord Thanatos 10:09, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
