Forums > Senate Hall archive > Noob training?

i think that for all newcomers(such as myself), somewhere on the page they can have some type of training or tutorial that walks them through the basics of wiki-editing. this way, we might avoid them getting pointlessly banned, or deleting everyone's edits on accident, that kind of stuff. we could make a commitee that could be willing to monitor the padawan's progress, but that might take time and would get annoying. what do you guys think? • Well, for starters, you should place ~~~~ after your comments. As for the rest, there is a sandbox that you can work with and do whatever. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 13:58, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Following the links in the welcome message Jorrel left on your talk page will also help significantly with learning your way around the wiki, whether as far as rules and procedures or simply wiki markup. You should take time go through those. Wildyoda 14:22, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
