Forums > Senate Hall archive > Proposal: Inline citations

Star Wars has a very large library of documents behind it. Many a time, I've noticed a peculiar detail on a page and thought, "Where did that come from?" Memory Alpha, a Star Trek wiki, handles this very nicely: the custom there is to use in-line paranthetical citations referring to the source from which the fact comes. For example, take a look at the article on the House of Duras, to choose one somewhat at random. Let's try something like that, perhaps? The Appearances section should be kept, but by itself it doesn't shed any light on particular facts or assertions. --GenkiNeko 19:30, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

  • You mean somewhat like this? —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 19:36, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Ah! I figured it was on here somewhere, but my search hadn't turned that up. I'll take a look. Thanks. --GenkiNeko 19:59, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
