Forums > Senate Hall archive > Question about planetary info

I have a question regarding some information in the infoboxes of several planets. I'm now constructing the main entries on Yodapedia and I stumbled upon some information I couldn't trace. I believe I have every possible source that could verify that info. For instance, the diameter from Alderaan isn't the one used in Coruscant and the Core Worlds. If it isn't, then where is it from? This isn't just about Alderaan, but about general planetary info. I often wonder about the source of some of the information. --Sompeetalay 19:53, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Some planetary diameters are given in online WOTC material I believe. Maybe also The Essential Guide to Planets and Moons? -- Riffsyphon1024 20:11, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
    • The Essential Guide to Planets and Moons doesn't have anything other books don't. Online WOTC material might be something, but that doesn't explain info from several 'RotS' planets which were never featured in the RPG, I believe. --Sompeetalay 20:31, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
      • Try Inside the Worlds of Star Wars Episode I. QuentinGeorge 05:39, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
        • I have tried all the 'Inside the Worlds'. They don't explain the characteristics I'm questioning. I fear this might be coming from a fanon source...
          • Check the strategy guide for Empire at War. It has a surprising amount of planetary data. (I can't check it myself until I get home from work.) -- Darth Culator (Talk)(Kills) 18:47, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
            • Doesn't this guide contradict other sources like some game stuff did in the past? --Sompeetalay 20:42, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
              • But the Inside the World guides do cover diameters. -- Riffsyphon1024 21:41, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
