On the recent changes page, now next to the change, it says plus or minus a number (like +21 or -158). That is on Wikipedia, but I've never seen it hear before. What do those numbers mean? Chack Jadson 19:02, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

  • The number of bytes added to or removed from an article. IIRC, it's 1 character per byte, which means if you saw someone had removed 5 bytes, it would mean 5 characters have been removed from the article. -- I need a name (Complain here) 19:06, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Ah. Thanks I need a name. Chack Jadson 19:09, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
      • If you see an article with -#>2000, it's probably vandalism. :~P tzzA 23:59, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
        • I saw this in use on Wikipedia first and I find it really helpful in determining whether or not its worth looking at a change. -- Riffsyphon1024 03:41, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
