I have a question. Well, less of a question and more of a concern, and even then less of a concern and more of a thought and even more so less of a though and more of a doubt and maybe less of a doubt and more a proposal.
See, in Canon articles (such as that of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope) no longer are articles concerning Legends material linked. However back in the day, you could go to that page and access Legends (then Expanded Universe) content that was retconned into the movie.
Take the case of Karoly D'ulin. Here is a character only really featured in Legends material, but is based on a background character from the movie. A character that doesn't really have a counterpart in Canon. If I were looking for information on this character, but did not remember their name, I used to go the the movie page and look at the appearances list. Now that character is no longer there, I had a much harder time to find the page. (Originally I was gonna use that one small muppet/rat-ish alien that couldn't drink right, but I couldn't find the article for the very same reasons).
It's accepted that Canon films also happen in the Legends things, but there is no way to access a "Legends" version of a film. My question/concern/thought/doubt/proposal thing-y would end up being: would it be possible to include a non-Canon Appearances list of a Canon movie? Obviously not on the main Canon article but perhaps in its own subpage under something like Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope/Legacy Appearances or Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope/Legacy or something similar?
Or maybe this has already been addressed? --Zero-ELEC (talk) 23:54, June 1, 2015 (UTC)
If you look, for example, at the appearances section of the article for A New Hope, you'll see that it already lists canon and Legends appearances separately. --LelalMekha (talk) 00:00, June 2, 2015 (UTC)
I just realized I don't pay nearly as much attention as I thought. <///> Sorry about that. --Zero-ELEC (talk) 00:08, June 2, 2015 (UTC)
