I understand why we changed it from the picture of the Star Forge, but we really need a different era tag to denote articles that appeared before the Before the Republic era. Currently, it's the Je'daii Order symbol, which is the official image for the Before the Republic era. This means that the only way to tell that an article appeared before the beginning of that era is to hover over the icon. It's confusing, and it probably had something to do with the earlier year articles being placed incorrectly within that era. More than that, it's inappropriate. We used the Star Forge previously, because it was created in that era. The defining of the Before the Republic era is the founding of the Je'daii Order, so the symbol didn't exist yet.
However, another problem is that there just aren't that many elements from millions of years before the Battle of Yavin that we could use. The only one I see is Centerpoint Station, which we could go with but it doesn't really make for an exciting tag. Thoughts, anyone? NaruHinaTalk 06:35, November 30, 2012 (UTC)
How about a galaxy swirl? CadeCalrayn 06:39, November 30, 2012 (UTC)
Love it. Depends on if we could get a good swirl to vectorize though. NaruHinaTalk 06:40, November 30, 2012 (UTC)
You can use this one to vectorize it. Winterz (talk) 23:12, November 30, 2012 (UTC)
I am still of the opinion something much more literal, and thus hopefully more obviously not an actual era icon to new readers, would be more appropriate. Something like ">36K BBY" made into an icon. —Unsigned comment byjSarek (talk • contribs).
