This page is an archive of a community-wide discussion. This page is no longer live. Further comments or questions on this topic should be made in a new Senate Hall page rather than here so that this page is preserved as a historic record. Toprawa and Ralltiir 08:11, February 25, 2012 (UTC)
I think it would be nice if articles, rather than only having an attached "Talk" page, also had a page where we could discuss the subject itself, our impressions of it, and ask questions about it should we have any. The "Talk" page is limited to discussion about the article itself, and anyone who deviates from this is referred to the "Knowledge Bank" forum. I'm not sure if this is up to Wookiepedia, or Wikia itself, but I think a change like this would be for the better.--Masterbmw 02:31, January 27, 2012 (UTC)
- "Wookieepedia is not a general-purpose message board." If you want to talk with other Star Wars fans about material extraneous to articles, you're welcome to join our IRC channel. Toprawa and Ralltiir 02:37, January 27, 2012 (UTC)
- I know that, but I think something less distant and more accessible to the article itself would be nice to have.--Masterbmw 02:48, January 27, 2012 (UTC)
- It would take away from the professional image we try to portray. However, feel free to create your own wiki for such pursuits. :) MasterFred

- Wikia's Article comments feature sounds like exactly what you're looking for, which would fall under this policy. Toprawa and Ralltiir 03:07, January 27, 2012 (UTC)
- Exactly what I meant, doesn't that sound like something useful? Consolidation is a good thing lol.--Masterbmw 03:12, January 27, 2012 (UTC)
- Not necessarily. We strive to be less Facebook and more encyclopedia. There are other places for that. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:27, January 27, 2012 (UTC)
