According to this page:http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kalani_(super_tactical_droid), The CIS Super Tactical Droid Kalani was killed during the mission to Utapau. However, after the Battle of Onderon, Dooku ordered Kalani to go the the planet of Agamar. Now, in the latest Star Wars Rebels Episode, a droid identical to Kalani can be seen on the planet Agamar. Coincidence? Of course not. I believe that it is reasonable to conclude Kalani was not destroyed on Utapau, but survived the Clone Wars on Agamar. —Unsigned comment byYozoz (talk • contribs).
Well just because he looks the same that does not mean that it is Kalani, it's best to wait til the episode airs to get a full answer --Lewisr (talk) 01:06, October 18, 2016 (UTC)
Given the way this universe works—that the same 30 people have been bumping into each other no matter where they go for the last 60 years—I wouldn't be surprised in the least if you're right. But we can't just go making assumptions based on how it looks in promotional material. Promo stuff is meant to entice and may or may not reflect the final truth of what it's advertising. In short, it doesn't get added until we have verifiable proof. Not to mention that we can come up with equally as plausible explanations (in this case) for both in- and out-of-universe. In-universe, it's very doubtful that a one-of-a-kind droid would be produced, so there are probably thousands of the same type that were stamped out in a factory; out-of-universe: this is done by an animation company who probably find it a hell of a lot faster and easier to pull up an existing animation asset than to have one designed and modelled from scratch. — DigiFluid(Whine here) 22:37, October 18, 2016 (UTC)
Well the writer of the episode confirmed that it was indeed Kalani, which is now on his page and on the episode page! --Lewisr (talk) 22:40, October 18, 2016 (UTC)
