The snag, of course, being that said update came from Aspyr rather than Obsidian (even if it's what Obsidian originally wanted). But here we have an apparently legitimate update to a retail-sold title. So how do we choose to handle this? &mdash; DigiFluid(Whine here) 22:28, July 22, 2015 (UTC)

*I love the TSLRCM myself, and jumped at the chance to give them some front-page recognition. The thing is, the TSLRCM was mod #1 on the new Workshop, but it's still a mod. Aspyr vs. Obsidian doesn't matter, official is official, and it does seem like they were encouraging people to install it, but the fact that it's a mod means that we can't really claim that it's 100% Legends-canon. -- <span style="color:#0000FF">Darth Culator</span> (Talk) 02:01, July 23, 2015 (UTC)

Forums > Senate Hall > SH:KOTOR2 2015 update, Legends canon?

I don't think a situation like this has come up before, so I thought it merited discussion: Aspyr Media, who apparently handles the game on Steam, just released a big update for KOTOR II. Among the updates was Day 1 functionality of the ever-popular Restored Content Mod. If I'm not mistaken, I believe we have a number of situations/articles where intended KOTOR2 content has been entered as cut and/or cancelled content, and therefore of questionable (Legends) canon status.

The snag, of course, being that said update came from Aspyr rather than Obsidian (even if it's what Obsidian originally wanted). But here we have an apparently legitimate update to a retail-sold title. So how do we choose to handle this? — DigiFluid(Whine here) 22:28, July 22, 2015 (UTC)
