Is there a correct way to link the Forest Moon of Endor? I have seen it linked as Forest Moon of Endor, pipelinked as Forest Moon of Endor, and Forest Moon of Endor (arguably most accurate (?), as Endor is the moon, and it orbits Endor (planet)). Should there be a definitive way to link Endor, or should it be up to the individual user? Hanzo Hasashi 22:03, October 3, 2011 (UTC)
- I think that it should just be left up to the writer (and/or/if applicable) reviewers.--Cal Jedi (Personal Comm Channel) 22:08, October 3, 2011 (UTC)
- I think the third one is probably the best, but I have no problem with the second one. The first one is just silly. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 22:10, October 3, 2011 (UTC)
- The third one looks the best to me, it links both the planet and the moon, which neither of the other two do.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 01:41, October 4, 2011 (UTC)
- I've always interpreted "Forest Moon of Endor" to be akin to "Galactic capital of Coruscant," and I've accordingly always linked Forest Moon of Endor the same way I would link Galactic capital of Coruscant rather than Galactic capital of Coruscant. If I'm mistaken, and "Forest Moon of Endor" means "A Forest Moon that orbits the planet Endor," then I say we should go with Forest Moon of Endor rather than Forest Moon of Endor, as more linking is better. We should also outright name the moon, as, if the latter interpretation is correct, our articles don't actually establish what the moon's name is and every subsequent instance of "Endor" should be taken to mean the planet. Which is why I like the former interpretation. :) Menkooroo 03:31, October 4, 2011 (UTC)
