Is it possible to change the default wiki skin to Monobook only on Wookieepedia? I frequent various wikis, and while I love being able to read the content in Wookieepedia without annoying side-bars and ads, most other Wikis have outdated and broken Monobook skins, making it a hassle to read these. So... is it possible? --Zero-ELEC (talk) 05:53, February 14, 2015 (UTC)
I don't think it is, but this would actually be a nice feature. Although I use Monobook on Wookieepedia because it's the superior skin, I'm nonetheless forced to switch back and forth every once in a while to make sure everything looks ok in Wikia skin, and that's often an inconvenience, as you point out. You may be able to add something to your CSS or JS here, or in your global CSS or JS on Community Central, in order to trigger Monobook for your account only on Wookieepedia. I couldn't begin to describe how, though, or if it's even possible. Just speculating, as there's no built-in way to do that. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 06:04, February 14, 2015 (UTC)
So I asked elsewhere and this works, although it's not perfect, you can't preview an edit and you have to load most pages twice, basically.
