First time using this, unsure of how this process is done.
I would like to change the name of the article Sith holocaust to Sith Genocide. This is not due to sensitivity on the historical topic; it is due to the fact that Holocaust is the improper term.
The holocaust is solely a specific historical event that resulted in eleven million deaths in World War Two. Genocide, however, is a broader term that defines any "deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation". This nomenclature is an example of "All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares".
The broader term 'Genocide' far better describes the actions taken by the Republic in the aftermath of the Great Hyperspace War.
I have been restricted in changing this name and am hoping somebody else can do so.—Unsigned comment by Dynex811 (talk • contribs).
