So, now that canon pages are the default, I'm seeing a barrier to the editing process for inexperienced editors like me. Namely, articles that currently only exist in Legends versions and therefore don't have the /Legends in the path presumably must be moved to [article name]/Legends before a canon version can be created at the default path. This seems to prevent users such as I who don't yet have article move privileges from creating new canon articles for existing Legends topics.
Is this correct, or am I missing something? Would it be possible/acceptable for me to just create a /Canon article and let someone fix it later? Thanks in advance for any answers! RainbowDroideka (talk) 06:19, December 31, 2015 (UTC)
One solution would be to have a central place newer editors can request make-way-for-Canon page moves. Most such moves could be done by any of the regulars here. Maybe a pinned Senate Hall thread could serve as this request repository? (In the meantime, we have this thread, and you can post here pages that are blocking your Canon additions.)
