In Wookieepedia:Featured article nominations/Ewok battle wagon, a few reviewers have stated that they find the yellow promo text emblazoned on this image distracting, and they have requested its removal. Now, I don't think removing the big yellow box would be possible, and cropping it out would eliminate elements that are, in my opinion, essential to the composition as a whole. But taking the text that reads, "Special Star Wars Planetary Map Inside, Collect All Three!" should be doable with a simple edit by Photoshop, the Gimp, or some other graphics program.

The problem is that my computer is on its last legs, so I cannot run any of those programs at the moment. Does anyone have access to one of them? Would you mind simply removing that blurb from the corner nad leaving it yellow instead, like the rest of that box? I'd really appreciate the assist! ~Savage 14:01, August 27, 2011 (UTC)

  • Well, Eyrezer deleted the older version, but I still see the "Star Wars map inside" text in the corner. You may just have to upload it under a totally new name, Omicron... ~Savage 00:46, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
    • What needs to be done is for an admin to move it to a new filename. The modified image is there (you can see it by viewing the image directly and appending "?1" to the end of the URL, like this); it just needs to be moved to purge the cache, hence why I tagged it with {{WISS}}.
