I've seen some articles use the (Non-canonical appearance) {{Nc}} template, while others have a sub-section titled "Non-canon appearances". For the sake of consistency, which one should be used? Personally, I prefer the separate section as it keeps the appearances section more organized. Any thoughts? -- Dr. Porter (Talk|Contribs) 07:08, June 16, 2016 (UTC)
- I don't know if we have an official policy but I think it depends on the number of sources. If there are more than five or ten non-canon appearances, they are entitled to their own section. If it is just a handful of sources, then they could be included in the appearance list. I really don't know. Let's see what the other users and admins have to say. - I believe the unofficial practice is 3 or more. Corellian PremierThe Force will be with you always 13:34, June 16, 2016 (UTC)
- That sounds right to me, too. Any less than that and there's not really much point in having a separate section. ProfessorTofty (talk) 02:09, June 18, 2016 (UTC)
