I was looking through issue 153 of Insider, and I came across this image of Echo from Sideshow Collectibles. Would images like this (another angle here) be appropriate for use on in-universe articles (i.e. infoboxes)? - Cwedin(talk) 05:05, August 7, 2016 (UTC)
- Sure is nice looking; I have no problem with using Sideshow images for droids and helmeted clone and storm troopers in articles, but I'm not too sure about this. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 05:33, August 7, 2016 (UTC)
- I feel the same way. The reason I'm asking is because Clone Wars images are clearly animated and stylized, while pictures like these are "more realistic." - Cwedin(talk) 05:39, August 7, 2016 (UTC)
- Toy images have been used at least once before, in the Jorg Sacul article. —Silly Dan (talk) 05:51, August 7, 2016 (UTC)
- I've also spotted one, Unidentified Rebel Honor Guard (a status article). - Cwedin(talk) 05:57, August 7, 2016 (UTC)
- We've used Sideshow before in canon actually. I can only remember on Spacetrooper, though. Nivlacanator(talk) 05:58, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
- Toprawa and Ralltiir stated that Sideshow product images from 2016 can safely be considered canon. See his edit comment from 8/10/16. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 06:13, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
