I've known about wikia and the wookieepedia for some time. But I was coincidentally reading about a character on the starwars.com encyclopedia, and found that starwars.com links to the wookieepedia!
This has made me curious. I know starwars.com is official Lucasfilm, and wookieepedia is not. Has Lucasfilm talked to wikia about it at all? I know they don't need permission to link here, but I do find it kind of curious that the official site would point at a fansite (even a great one) with out there being an "official" relationship between the two.
Either way, good job guys. Obviously, lots of fans have put in a lot of time to make this site great, and it's nice that Lucasfilm sees it for the good thing that it is. :)—Unsigned comment by188.8.131.52 (talk • contribs).
LFL officials, writers, et al, have mentioned Wookieepedia. We are, in my opinion, the most prominent Star Wars fan site on the internet. :) JangFett(Talk) 19:56, April 9, 2014 (UTC)
