I just went through and fixed various things related to The Black Fleet Crisis since, according to [1], [2], and [3], the whole Black Fleet Crisis trilogy takes place 16 ABY instead of 16-17 ABY. Hopefully, I didn't miss anything that needed to be changed. Mbruno (talk) 19:27, August 21, 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think that a Facebook timeline should override previous canon. It may well just be a mistake or a simplification. LOTF and FOTJ are often listed as 40 ABY and 43 ABY respectively, while they each enompass two years. What was the original source for 17 ABY? Anyone? NaruHina Talk 06:12, August 22, 2012 (UTC)
- At least The New Essential Chronology (pp. 179–182) has the Black Fleet Crisis dated to 16–17 ABY. Don't know whether that's the original source though. Tinwe(comlink) 07:02, August 22, 2012 (UTC)
- Just wanted to mention that the articles for all three Black Fleet Crisis books had 16 ABY before I touched anything. Plus, Battle of ILC-905 and Mission to the Koornacht Cluster had been listed on the 17 ABY page while the articles for those two said 16 ABY. Another thing is that the section that was in the back of the older Bantam novels that gave a bit of info for all the different novels(I hope people know what I'm talking about here) had the whole Black Fleet Crisis trilogy as being set 12 years after the Battle of Endor/16 ABY. BTW, Tinwe, the original Essential Chronology had Black Fleet Crisis listed as 16-17 ABY also, but I remember hear of it as being 16-17 ABY back before the original Essential Chronology was even published, I just don't know what the original source for that dating was. One final thing, Star Wars Timeline Gold has the whole BFC in 16 ABY also, if that makes any difference to anyone.Mbruno (talk) 00:29, August 23, 2012 (UTC)
- I guess we'll just have to wait and see what The Essential Reader's Companion has to say about this. Tinwe(comlink) 06:12, August 23, 2012 (UTC)
