Now that we have a very prominent LEGENDS banner on key Wookieepedia articles, we will have readers clicking on that banner, which redirects to the Expanded Universe article. This EU article is not appropriate, especially since the Expanded Universe doesn’t exist anymore. And I quote:
In years past, the storylines that would appear in print and on screen were developed separately, resulting in an "Expanded Universe" that differed in ways large and small from the filmmaker's "canon." These rich stories provide a treasure trove of characters to fall in love with -- and deep worlds to explore and will live on in both physical and digital editions, newly-branded as Star Wars Legends.
The EU article goes into the “Story Eras” and “Official Levels of Canon” such as T-canon and S-canon, which are no longer "official." All of these things have been rolled into Legends. A new, concise, “Legends” article that will help readers immediately identify what Legends is would be immensely helpful. It can also explain the split between Legends and Canon. (The new “Legends” article can certainly contain links to the old EU article.) --Richterbelmont10 (come in R2!) 17:38, May 10, 2014 (UTC)
