What happened to our favicon? It's suddenly changed to a pair of big, bold, and ugly black square brackets. —MJ— War Room Thursday, April 19, 2012, 17:48 UTC
- I still see it here, on my work PC.... — DigiFluid 17:53, April 19, 2012 (UTC)
- That's Wikia's new favicon (lovely, ain't it)... I guess a bug... will prod staff. 1358 (Talk) 18:10, April 19, 2012 (UTC)
- For those not seeing it, the screenshot to the right shows it four times. —MJ— Comlink Thursday, April 19, 2012, 18:15 UTC
- I see it just fine in various browsers, including Firefox. JangFett (Talk) 18:29, April 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Me too, using FF11. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 18:34, April 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Seeing it logged in at work on IE8 and logged out on FF3. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 19:24, April 19, 2012 (UTC)
- I see our WP favicon in Chrome here on my work PC. The starbird/imperial one that's always been there. I'll doublecheck on my own PC when I get home. Haven't seen the square brackets. — DigiFluid 19:52, April 19, 2012 (UTC)
- OK, our regular favicon is back, at least for me. —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers Thursday, April 19, 2012, 19:56 UTC
- And just to confirm anyway, even if it's redundant at this point–I still had our favicon on my home PC (Chrome), as well as a second work PC (in both Chrome and FF). — DigiFluid 12:44, April 20, 2012 (UTC)

Looking into this
Edit
Glad to see it's working for you now, Jonathan. Is it not working for anyone else? If not, please say so here (and, if you haven't already, say what browser + browser version you're using it). I'm not able to reproduce this issue in any browser, so any additional info is appreciated. Additionally, please try adding ?action=purge to the end of the URL to see if a purge of the page fixes it. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 20:13, April 19, 2012 (UTC)
- To be more specific, it's working for me in Firefox 11.0 and IE9, which are the only two browsers I have. —MJ— Training Room Thursday, April 19, 2012, 20:33 UTC
- FWIW, I've seen it several times, but going to a different article changes it back to our regular one.—Cal Jedi

Round 2
Edit
The favicon is screwed up again. I'm seeing the same thing as in the screenshot above that I took last month. Firefox 12.0. —MJ— War Room Wednesday, May 23, 2012, 18:02 UTC
- I had it happen momentarily yesterday on Wookieepedia:Manual of Style (and nowhere else since) but hitting ?action=purge fixed it. I suspect there's a caching server screwup somewhere, because uploading new versions of existing images is also screwing up again. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 18:06, May 23, 2012 (UTC)
