In Crimson Empire III part 5, there's a member of the Imperial Ruling Council who appears identical to Xamuel Lennox. In the scene, Gilad Pellaeon simply refers to him as "Commander" however no further information is presented. I've uploaded an image of the scene which you can examine here.
Can we assume that the two are the same or that they're completely different and the artist used him as an example for a typical Imperial looking character? --Victory93 (talk) 07:20, June 30, 2012 (UTC)
- Sure looks like the same guy to me, but his encyclopedia entry has Lennox imprisoned by the New Republic when his ship is captured, with the New Essential Chronology placing the date of its capture at 7 ABY. Since the comic takes place in 13 ABY that would mean that Lennox would have had to escape for New Republic custody. However, I would think that the picture is supposed to be of Lennox. I can't see many people having the same wart/mole on the exact same part of the face as another person. Is that all he does in the comic? If there is anything else I would appreciate hearing from you so I can add the information to the article, which I nominated as an featured article. I would also appreciate if you could tell me what the meeting was about. Thanks for spotting this!--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 20:40, June 30, 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think we can assume this is Lennox. The X-wing game used a similar image of Lennox in a cut scene and he has not been conclusively identified as Lennox to my recollection in that game. Additionally, we have the case of Moradmin Bast and his doppelgänger from the Holiday Special. Two officers, one actor, both identical. We shouldn't be making assumptions here. -Cavalier One(Squadron channel) 01:42, July 1, 2012 (UTC)
- I see you point, do you think that this should be mentioned in the BTS?--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 02:53, July 1, 2012 (UTC)

- His only appearance in Crimson Empire III: Empire Lost 5 is in the image which is seen. On Orinda, after a meeting organised by Pellaeon which was supposed to help create a possible truce between the Remnant and the New Republic which was attacked by Stormtroopers of the Restored Empire resulting in the death of Feena D'Asta, they believe the attack was responsible by the New Republic so the council and Pellaeon decide to retaliate to not lose the support of the D'Astan sector and Ragez D'Asta. --Victory93 (talk) 02:42, July 1, 2012 (UTC)
- Whilst the scene in Star Wars: X-wing already conflicts with existing canon, there's nothing which seems to interfere with the events in Crimson Empire III. Whilst we can assume he could've eventually returned to the Empire and by the time of 13 ABY achieved the rank of Commander and became a member of the Imperial Ruling Council, there's no other evidence to back this claim. --Victory93 (talk) 03:16, July 1, 2012 (UTC)
- The X-wing scene doesn't conflict with canon because those two officers have not been explicitly stated to be Lennox and Cabbel. As ExiledJedi mentioned above, the best option would be to note the use of Lennox's appearance in the issue in the BTS. Anything more would be outright speculation, which is not allowed. - Cavalier One(Squadron channel) 12:33, July 1, 2012 (UTC)
