Anyways, it occurs to me that especially in some of the recent developments of the Legacy of the Force series, there are some characters who have an "affiliation" to the New Jedi Order, but aren't actually Jedi themselves. I've been sorta wondering about this for a while, but I started really thinking about it when Wedge said something to the effect of the Jedi now being a "cross-planetary, self-governing body" in Fury. Anyways, I was wondering, do we count people like Jagged Fel, Han Solo, Wedge Antilles, Iella Antilles, Mirax Terrik Booster Terrik, and Wes Janson, who are fighting with the Jedi in the Confederation-Galactic Alliance War as having a "Jedi" Affiliation? Or do we call that something else?
Also, as a more general question, does someone actually have to be a force user themselves in order to be considered to have an "affiliation" to a force using organization, or just have a loyalty to that organization?Procyon 02:06, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
- I've used New Jedi Order affiliations for both Jag and Karrde in writing their articles, as they are, in fact, loyal to the organization. Barring creating an article on "The New Jedi Order and the coalition of people who support them", that's what they're loyal to and that darn well better be in their affiliations.
