Forums > Senate Hall archive > SH Archive/"X (language)" to "X language"

I have noticed that most articles in Category:Languages use the form "X (language)". Per the Wikipedia policy, they should be at "X language". What should we do? - Sikon 13:02, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

  • I don't see a problem with changing them to Wikipedia's form. —Xwing328(Talk) 16:17, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Support; it would make for more natural links within articles, methinks. jSarek 20:37, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Support. (Is this a vote? Should it be put on the consensus track thing?) – Aidje talk 02:08, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
    • No, this is not a vote. Why does everything have to be a vote? - Sikon 05:20, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
      • Well at least a vote is controlled chaos versus debate splooged randomly across the thread. :) I support. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:35, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Sounds good to me. The parenthetical labels are generally pretty awkward. (and I agree with Sikon...votes aren't helpful.) — SparqMan Talk 18:50, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
