Hey, I just have a minor question;

When there is an article about a character (or possibly other things also), there will be an appearance section. Here, one of the appearances will have (First Appearance) after it. I was wondering whether this applies to their first appearance in a book, when the book was released for example, or does it refer to their first chronological appearance?; as some releases will obviously be made where a character that has already been established will have some exploits before any previous release. • First appearance is meant to be first appearance in order of real-world publication (so Luke Skywalker's first appearance is Ep. IV, even though he appeared in various works which were published after 1977 but which occurred earlier in the timeline.) —Silly Dan (talk) 23:40, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
  • A good point though that those templates may not be complete self explanatory. --Prime 17:27, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
