Hello, folks. Just a note to let you all know that I've been working on a list of all known adaptations, tie-ins, and behind-the-scenes guides to the six main Star Wars films here. The idea is to have a single list of these things so that if someone wants to FA or GA some element of one of the six episodes, they can make sure they have checked all the likely sources for information on that topic.
For example, say I want to FA Sy Snootles. Well, she's in the film Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, but she might be in any of the tie-ins, adaptations, and behind-the-scenes books too, so I have to check those too. At any rate, I'm posting this for several reasons:
to let people know about the list
to ask people to help flesh out and/or correct the list
and to ask whether this list might have some use outside my userspace as some sort of official page.
At any rate, I intend to go through the items in the list one-by-one and add an "Appearances" template to the source's page to indicate what alien species appear, at the very least. Other WookieeProjects may wish to do the same with whatever thing they focus on.
That it all. Hopefully I won't be the only one to find this side-project worthwhile! :) ~ SavageBob 05:21, October 16, 2010 (UTC)
Wow, this is incredibly comprehensive. Very well done, this will definitely be a useful tool for us. A few notes: you're missing the Star Wars: The National Public Radio Dramatization from the ANH list, though the scripts for the other OT radio dramas are there. Also, the OT Infinities adaptations would be worth including as well. That's about it really. I don't think there's anything else I can add. Xicer9(Combadge) 15:58, October 16, 2010 (UTC)
Agreed. This is a really comprehensive and useful tool. Amazing job, Bob. Menkooroo 16:31, October 16, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for doing this SavageBob. Now that handful of redlinks just needs to be blueified. :) -- Riffsyphon1024 11:30, October 18, 2010 (UTC)
Well, I'm sure the list is incomplete; I'm finding more stuff the harder I search. But, yeah, blue links would be good. I'll help out where I can, but, again, I don't want to give the impression that this is hands-off just because it's in my userspace. ;) ~ SavageBob 15:53, October 18, 2010 (UTC)
